Naphthylamin: Naph|thyl|a|min [↑ Naphthyl- u. ↑ Amin] Syn.: Aminonaphthalin, (systematisch:) Naphthalinamin:

1) 1-Naphthylamin (veraltetes Syn.: α-N.): farblose, giftige, an Luft sich rötlich färbende krist. Verb., Smp. 50 °C, die außer zur Synthese von 1-Naphthol zur Herst. von Farbstoffen, Antioxidantien u. Pestiziden verwendet wird;

2) 2-Naphthylamin (veraltetes Syn.: β-N.): farblose bis rötliche, giftige Kristalle, Smp. 112 °C, die als Ausgangsprodukt zur Herst. von Farbstoffen dienten, bevor die großtechnische Produktion des 2-N. wegen seiner carcinogenen Eigenschaften internat. eingestellt wurde.
